Iran says Hormuz deal agreed with Oman, ties reopening to end of US blockade

Iran and Oman have agreed on a safe route for ships through the Strait of Hormuz after three weeks of talks, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said Saturday. However, he warned that full security in the strategic waterway cannot return while the US blockade remains. Tehran closed the passage after the US-Israeli attack on Iran on February 28.
