Iran says US draft deal proposed lifting naval blockade and troop withdrawal, US denies

The White House rejected Iranian media reports claiming a draft peace deal by US proposed lifting the naval blockade on Iran and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. "This report...is not true and...is a complete fabrication," White House said on X. Iranian media claimed US proposed a draft Memorandum of Understanding which also involved withdrawing US troops from the Gulf region.
