Iran says US strikes hit water tanks in Sirik, people left without drinking water supply

Iran said that overnight strikes by US on its territory hit two water storage tanks in Sirik which cut off access to clean drinking water for local residents. US launched retaliatory strikes, after Iranian strike downed a US helicopter near Strait of Hormuz. "Targeting civilian water infrastructure raises serious humanitarian concerns," Iranian consulate in Mumbai said.
