Iran shuts Strait of Hormuz again as Israel bombs Lebanon

Iran's top joint military command said on Saturday that Strait ​of Hormuz would ​be closed to vessel ⁠traffic, citing ​alleged violations of a ​ceasefire agreement by US and Israel, ​Mehr state ​news agency reported. This comes after Israel's continued attacks against Lebanon. It said ‌the ⁠closure was the "first step" in response to what it ​described ​as ⁠breaches of commitments.
