Iran sought backchannel talks with CIA to end the ongoing war with Israel and the US, a New York Times report claimed. The message was allegedly conveyed through another country's intelligence service a day after attacks began on February 28, the report added. However, an Iranian intelligence ministry source dismissed the claim as "psychological warfare", Iran's Tasnim news agency stated.
