Iran's Parliament Speaker MB Ghalibaf took to X to share a picture of Iran goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand's close-range save in their FIFA World Cup match against Belgium. He wrote, "This is how we protect our land." Due to US-imposed restrictions, Iran team have been forced to stay outside US between matches, with many staff and officials banned from entering US.
