Iran to lodge complaint with FIFA over WC 2026 travel restrictions

Football Federation of Iran (FFIRI) said it'll lodge a complaint with FIFA over the travel restrictions players are facing during the 2026 World Cup. The federation argued that the measures violate the principle of equal treatment for all participating teams. The move comes after Iran's request to fly to US two days before its next match against Belgium was denied.
