Iran to travel from Mexico for FIFA WC matches after US refusal

The Iranian team will sleep in Mexico and travel to the US on the days of its three World Cup group-stage matches, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said. She added that FIFA approached her government after US authorities said they didn't want Iran to stay in the country throughout the 48-team competition. The tournament will begin on June 11.
