Iran used Chinese spy satellite to target US bases, leaked docs reveal

Iran secretly acquired a Chinese commercial satellite, TEE-01B, giving Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a space-based capability to monitor and target US military bases in Middle East, the Financial Times reported, citing leaked documents. The satellite surveilled Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia on March 13-15, around the time of Iranian drone and missile strikes on the facility, FT said.
