Iran war may push 45 million people into acute hunger by June: WFP

World Food Programme (WFP) Deputy Executive Director Carl Skau on Tuesday said that 45 million people are projected to be pushed ​into acute hunger if the Iran war continues through to June. "This would ‌take ⁠global hunger levels to an all-time record, and it's a terrible, terrible prospect," Skau added. Notably, 319 million people are suffering from acute hunger.
