Iran warns France, UK against warship deployment at Hormuz Strait

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi warned France and UK against their plans to deploy warships at the Strait of Hormuz to protect maritime security. Stating that Iran has sovereign control over the Strait, he said, "[Such deployment] will be met with a decisive and immediate response." Notably, their deployment effort is distinct from the US' currently paused "Project Freedom".
