Iran threatens protesters with death penalty, calls them 'Enemy of God'
Iran's attorney general, Mohammad Movahedi Azad, threatened protesters that they may face death penalty, stating that anyone participating in protests would be treated as an "enemy of God". Movahedi stated that "proceedings must be conducted without leniency, compassion or indulgence," adding that even those who "helped rioters" would face prosecution. Several people have died in the protests.
