Iranian Commander, Diplomats Killed In Israeli Air Strike In Syria

A suspected Israeli Air Strike at Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital led to the killing of a senior military commander and several diplomats, reported several Tehran-based news outlets. The attack reportedly destroyed Iran's embassy and at least eight people were inside the building in Damascus. Among the deceased included Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps commander Mohammad Reza Zahedi.
