Iranian warship sunk by US waited 11 hrs for Sri Lanka's permission to dock at Galle: Lankan MP

Sri Lankan Opposition MP Mujibur Rahman claimed that the government didn't respond to Iranian warship IRIS Dena's request to dock at Galle port for 11 hours. "Why'd we allow...ship to wait for 11 hours?...Why didn't we allow...[it] to berth at Galle port?" Rahman said in Parliament. A US submarine attacked IRIS Dena on Wednesday, leading to at least 87 deaths.
