Iranian woman from Pune biking across 45 nations in 1.5 yrs

A Pune-based Iranian woman is aiming to cover 45 countries across seven continents and traverse over 1,00,000 kilometres on her bike within 18 months. Thirty-five-year-old Dr Maral Yazarloo, who moved to Pune 15 years ago, said she hopes to break stereotypes about women, especially those from the Middle East. She began her journey in March, and is currently in Peru.
