Iranian women march with rifles at ‘Sacrifice for Iran’ rally amid ongoing US war

Iranian women carrying rifles marched through Tehran on Friday as hundreds of thousands joined a government-organised Janfada, or “Sacrifice for Iran”, rally, calling for volunteers to prepare for military service amid war with US. Female members of the Revolutionary Guard were seen positioned around truck-mounted machine guns. Iran claims 600,000 volunteers have registered for military training.
