Iran's top Quran reciter, Saeed Toosi, has been accused of sexually abusing trainees aged 12 to 13, with the allegations being shared on social media. Toosi has since issued a statement denying the accusations, which he described as "bogus and total lies". Such allegations are unprecedented in the Islamic republic with only a few victims known to have come forward.
