Iraq joins UAE, Oman & others in suspending Iranian flights amid US sanctions threat

Iraq has suspended flights to and from ​Iran, joining UAE, Oman, Azerbaijan, and Georgia in halting access for Iranian airlines amid US sanctions threat. Countries allowing Iranian planes to land would be "knocked out of the dollar system", US has warned. "If neighbouring countries cooperate with the US...we will ensure their airports cannot function," Iran had also warned.
