Iraqi man mauled to death, eaten by his own pet lion

A 50-year-old Iraqi man, Aqil Fakhr al-Din, was killed and partially eaten by his pet lion last Thursday in Kufa, Iraq. After one month of raising the animal, the lion attacked him in his garden, inflicting fatal injuries. A neighbour intervened, shooting the lion.
