IRCTC lets passengers book vacant berths after chart preparation

IRCTC's Chart Vacancy feature can help passengers find vacant berths after the first reservation chart is prepared. Usually, the first chart is prepared around four hours before departure. Passengers can check available coaches and berths through the IRCTC Rail Connect app and book eligible vacant seats through the Current Booking facility.
