IRCTC to serve only veg food on trains to religious sites: Sattvik Council

Indian Railways' catering-ticketing service IRCTC will promote 'vegetarian-friendly' travel on trains going to religious destinations, the Sattvik Council of India (SCI) has said. Passengers on such trains will get only vegetarian food that has been given sattvik certification by the SCI. The Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express to Vaishno Devi will likely be among the 'sattvik certified' trains.
