IRCTC, Twitter officials to depose before Parliament panel on data security

A Parliamentary panel has called officials of Railways' catering arm IRCTC and social network company Twitter to depose before it on the handling of customer data. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology will be chaired by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Friday. This comes after IRCTC recently floated a tender to hire a consultant to monetise its passenger data.
