Ireland head coach Malan resigns after historic 2-0 T20I series win against India

Ireland men's head coach Heinrich Malan has resigned after the team's historic 2-0 T20I series win against India. The 45-year old South African was appointed as Ireland head coach in 2022 and his contract was due to expire in 2027. Under him, Ireland qualified for three consecutive T20 World Cups and recorded their first three Test victories.
