Ireland says it won't leave European Union and join UK

Republic of Ireland's Europe Minister, Helen McEntee, has said the country won't leave the European Union (EU) and join the UK. She added that 92% of the country's population voted last year to remain in the EU. The border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (part of the UK) has been a major issue in the Brexit negotiations.
