Actor Irrfan Khan was part of the Indian fantasy television show 'Chandrakanta' which aired between 1994 and 1996. The actor, who turns 50 today, made his acting debut with TV show 'Bharat Ek Khoj' in 1988. He later debuted in the Hindi film industry with the 1988 National Award winning movie 'Salaam Bombay!'.
