Diwali traditionally falls on Amavasya Tithi of Kartik month, which begins at 3:52 pm on October 31 and ends at 6:16 pm on November 1. According to Drik Panchang, Diwali should be celebrated on October 31 as Amavasya night falls on that day. Laxmi Puja should be conducted during Pradosh Kaal, from 5:12 pm to 7:43 pm, multiple reports said.
