Is obesity linked to severity of atopic dermatitis?

A study in the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology revealed that obesity is linked to heightened severity of atopic dermatitis (AD), as assessed by both clinicians and patients. However, the effect sizes indicate limited clinical significance. The study suggested that while there is a link, it may not be a major factor in its management.
