Isha, Akash & Anant Ambani appointed to Reliance board after investors' nod

Shareholders of Reliance Industries have approved the appointment of Isha, Akash and Anant Ambani to the company's board as non-executive directors. Isha, Akash and Anant got approval from 98.21%, 98.06% and 92.76% of the shareholders respectively of the total votes polled, the company said. Proxy advisory firms ISS and IiAS had opposed proposal to appoint Anant to Reliance's board.
