Madih Talal's lone goal proved the difference as Punjab FC registered their first-ever win in the Indian Super League. The club from Punjab defeated Chennaiyin FC 1-0 and jumped to the tenth position in the points table with eight points. Chennaiyin FC remained at the sixth position with 12 points.
