Islam set to overtake Christianity as most popular religion

Islam will overtake Christianity as the world's largest religion before the end of the century, according to a US-based study. It is projected that by 2050, the world's Muslim population will increase by 73% while the overall population would grow 35%. The study said one of the reasons the Muslim population will grow rapidly is because they have more children.
