Islamic Republic has in effect reached its end: Iran's exiled crown prince on Khamenei's death

Iran's exiled crown prince Reza Pahlavi hailed the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying, "With his death, the Islamic Republic has in effect reached its end and will very soon be consigned to...dustbin of history." Claiming that attempts to appoint his successor would fail, he urged authorities to "ensure Iran's stable transition to a free and prosperous future".
