Israel & Lebanon set to hold talks in US as attacks escalate

Israeli and Lebanese officials are meeting for talks in the US on Friday to resolve their decades-long conflict. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said their troops have advanced beyond the Litani River in southern Lebanon, adding, "We're striking them and will strike them forcefully." Lebanon is expected to demand a halt to Israeli strikes, ground invasion and occupation of southern Lebanon.
