Israel accused of using white phosphorous on civilians in Lebanon

Israel "unlawfully" used white phosphorus over residential parts of the Southern Lebanese town last week, alleged Human Rights Watch on Monday. "Use of white phosphorus over residential areas is extremely alarming and will have dire consequences for civilians," the body said. "Its incendiary effects can cause death or cruel injury," a researcher at Human Rights Watch said.
