Israel built base in Iraq to support air campaign in Iran: Report

Israel built a secret military base in Iraq to support its air campaign against Iran, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a US official. The base was built shortly before the joint US-Israel strikes on Iran on February 28 to house special forces, the report added. Israeli troops reportedly launched airstrikes against Iraqi forces who nearly discovered the base.
