Israel conducts fresh strike in Syria despite US criticism

Israel on Saturday carried out a fresh strike in southern Syria, the second reported incident within a week amid criticism by the US over Israel's military action in Syria. US envoy for Syria Tom Barrack had called the earlier strike an "unnecessary escalation". Israel said Barrack's comment was "full of inaccuracies" and contradicted the stance of US President Donald Trump.
