Israel confirms death of 19-yr-old captive woman soldier shown in Hamas video

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday confirmed the death of 19-year-old Noa Marciano, a woman soldier held captive in Gaza by Palestinian militant group Hamas. A statement from the army called Marciano "a fallen IDF soldier" a day after the army confirmed her identity following the release of a video by Hamas, showing the young woman in captivity.
