Israel doesn't want American aid, says Netanyahu, despite getting $3.8 bn every year

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said, "I want to stop American aid. It's like welfare. I don't want it." He added, "Our economy is no longer...small...we can finance ourselves this fraction of a per cent of our GDP that we receive from the United States." Notably, the US provides Israel with $3.8 billion annually under a 10-year MoU until 2028.
