Israel hits Iran's petrochemical hub, says site produced ballistic missile materials

Israel has targeted a petrochemical hub in the Iranian city of Mahshahr, killing five people. “Three hits and severe explosions occurred in the Special Petrochemical Zone of Mahshahr,” an Iranian news agency reported, adding that 170 people were wounded in the strike. According to Israel, the key industrial hub includes facilities that supply materials for explosives and ballistic missiles.
