Israel MP signs petition supporting ICJ hearings on Gaza 'genocide'

An Israeli MP from Hadash-Ta'al party, MK Ofer Cassif, has signed a petition in support of upcoming hearings at International Court of Justice (ICJ) to consider South Africa's case accusing Israel of 'genocide' in Gaza. "My constitutional duty is to Israeli society...not to a government whose members...are calling for ethnic cleansing," he said. Around 200 Israelis have signed the petition.
