Israel plans to displace Palestinians to Somaliland: Somalia

Somalia's Defence Minister Ahmed Moalim Fiqi stated "confirmed information" of Israel's plan to forcibly displace Palestinians to the breakaway region of Somaliland, reported Al Jazeera. Fiqi denounced the plan as a "serious violation" of international law. Earlier, Israel became the first country to recognise Somaliland as a sovereign nation. Somaliland declared independence from Somalia in 1991.
