Israel says it destroyed 'secret nuclear facility' in Iran's capital

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed it destroyed a covert nuclear facility on the outskirts of Iran's capital Tehran in a targeted attack. Identified as 'Minzadehei', the compound was used by "nuclear scientists who operated to develop a key component for nuclear weapons," it stated. Iran began using the partially-underground facility after the 12-day June 2025 war, an IDF spokesperson claimed.
