Israel to appeal against ICC warrants for PM Netanyahu, Gallant

Israel has notified the International Criminal Court (ICC) that it will contest arrest warrants for PM Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant over their handling of the Gaza war, Netanyahu's office said on Wednesday. Israel also demanded that ICC delay execution of the arrest warrants, it added. Some countries including the US and Hungary have rejected the warrants.
