Israel to release 737 Palestinians in 1st phase of ceasefire deal

Israel's Justice Ministry said 737 Palestinian prisoners and detainees who are currently held in country's prisons will be freed as part of first phase of Gaza ceasefire. Zakaria Zubeidi, ex-commander of Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and key figure in 2021 prison break in Israel, will also be released. The deal was brokered by Egypt and Qatar, with backing of US.
