Israel units committed human rights abuse before Hamas attack: US

US State Department identified five Israeli military units that violated human rights outside Gaza before October 7 Hamas attack. While most of these units are from IDF, they include at least one police unit. They haven't been sanctioned. The fifth, the ultra-orthodox unit Netzah Yehuda, faced potential blacklisting under Leahy Laws, which ban US funding of units involved in atrocities.
