Israel upgrades its Iron Dome defence, adds laser interception

Israel's Defence Ministry successfully tested major upgrades to its Iron Dome short-range air defence system including a high-powered laser interception system, Iron Beam. "[The] upgrades...improve its ability to deal with...future threats, including rockets, cruise missiles, and UAVs," the ministry said adding that they were based on the lessons learned during the war and operations against Iran.
