Israel uses 'exploding gel' to blast Hamas tunnels

Israeli army engineers located the entrance to a Hamas tunnel under an evacuated hospital in northern Gaza, filled the passage with 'exploding gel' and hit the detonator. "The gel spread out and exploded whatever they had been waiting for us in the tunnel," an Israeli army officer said. The officer declined to give any technical details on the gel.
