Israeli consulate puts up billboards in Mumbai to honour Captain Smit, calls him 'Top Gun'

The Consulate General of Israel in Mumbai put up billboards to honour Captain Smit Machchhar, who averted a Tel Aviv-bound flight from crashing and saved 180 lives. Most of the passengers on the flight were Israeli citizens. "Thank you, Captain Smit...for saving Israeli lives," a billboard read. "Speedy recovery to the top gun of India," the consulate said on X.
