Israeli currency Shekel falls to almost 8-year low

Israeli shekel fell to an almost eight-year low against US dollar on Monday after Hamas attacked the country on Saturday. The currency declined by more than 3% against the dollar at 3.9581, weakest since 2016. Meanwhile, Israel's central bank said on Monday that it will sell up to $30 billion of foreign currency in the open market to maintain stability.
