Israeli firm won tender to sell spyware to Myanmar before coup: Report

Israel-based Cognyte Software won a tender to sell intercept spyware to a Myanmar state-backed telecommunications firm before the country's February 2021 military coup, Reuters reported. Cognyte and unnamed defence and foreign ministry officials have now been accused of "aiding and abetting crimes against humanity in Myanmar". The complaint was filed on behalf of more than 60 Israelis.
