Israeli forces carry out 1st Syria-Lebanon cross-border op since war began

The Israeli military carried out its first cross-border operation from Syria into Lebanon since the war with Iran began. The operation, involving its specialised Alpinist Unit, aims to "locate and dismantle terrorist infrastructure and gather critical intelligence", Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said. A video showed troops skiing across mountainous terrain during the mission.
